Lisa Hehenberger

Dean of the ESADE Business School, Associate Professor, and Chairholder; a recognized expert on impact measurement, impact investing, and social entrepreneurship. Active in expert groups (EU, OECD, GSG, COFIDES) and advisory boards (Rubio, Creas, GSMA Foundation), and former research and policy director of Impact Europe (formerly the European Venture Philanthropy Association).

Impact & ESG Manager
With over 13 years of diverse experience in Investment Banking, Credit Analysis, Impact Assessment and Venture Philanthropy. Marjolaine delivered capacity building and investment readiness support to impactful organizations. She has worked in South America, the US, Europe and South Africa and holds an MBA from IE Business School.

Farah Mulji
Venture Partner
Principal at ImpactVine Advisors. Entrepreneur, investor and strategic advisor with more than 13 years working in multiple countries in Africa in industries such as education, technology, manufacturing and healthcare, international trade and venture capital. LP and investor in impact businesses in Africa, Canada, and Europe.

We are supported by an international and multidisciplinary advisory board with extensive experience in the fields of entrepreneurship, business, asset management, impact investing, and technical assistance. The members of the Advisory Board have set up and worked for a myriad of companies and institutions in Sub-Saharan Africa, the Middle East, and Europe. Lisa Hehenberger is a part of the Executive Team as well as the Advisory Board.

Adeolu Adewunmi-Zer
Strategic advisor and accomplished business leader with almost 25 years of professional and executive experience in financial services across four continents. Afro-optimist, dedicated to fostering sustainable growth in Africa. Founder & Managing Director of ZER Consulting Africa. Former MD/CEO of Allianz Nigeria.

Anu Sing
Highly experienced in investment banking, strategy and TMT executive with more than 25 years of experience in various sectors, at both Board and executive levels. She founded MTN Bayobab in 2018 and was a member of the board of directors of the Development Bank of South Africa for nine years. She has been active in numerous board positions for MTN across the continent, and she contributes continuously to the cross-over between technology and finance.

Oguche Agudah
Founder of HRISP Partners, Programme Manager at the Pan-Africa Fund Managers Alliance and member of Nigeria's National Advisory Board for Impact Investments, he brings over 20 years of experience spanning banking, investment, policy advisory, and market development. His previous roles include CEO of the Pension Fund Operators Association of Nigeria, Regional Director at OurCrowd, and Special Adviser to Nigeria's Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment.

Elias Masilela
Chairman of Impact Investing SA and DNA Economics, he previously held roles including CEO of the PIC, Head of Policy Analysis at Sanlam, and Chairman of the Multichoice Group. He currently sits on the boards of the SARB, the GEPF, and the UN Global Compact, and is the founder of the Impact Investing SA Movement and a participant in the Global Steering Group on Impact Investing.

Gilbert Nyatanyi
The former CEO of Rwanda's Sovereign Wealth Fund is a highly seasoned Banking & Finance Lawyer, boasting over two decades of expertise in advising on secured transactions, corporate finance and capital markets. He brings with him a deep understanding and knowledge of sovereign wealth funds, supranational institutions and African institutional investors.

Frank Aswani
CEO of the African Venture Philanthropy Alliance, a network of investors who are collaborating to increase the flow of capital into social investments across Africa. He has extensive experience from several organisations like the African Leadership Academy and spent 14 years in senior positions with Eli Lily.
